Our team at Melville have diverse skills and extensive experience in the fitness industry and are here to make a genuine difference in our Fitstoppers’ lives. MEET THE TEAM

Caitlyn Lewis

MANAGER

Caitlyn is our Manager and Head Trainer. Caitlyn brings a wealth of knowledge to the Fitstop Melville Team having coached in group fitness for many years as well as being an experienced power lifting coach. Caitlyn is a qualified Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism coach, has completed her Diploma in Sports coaching and is currently completing her Diploma in Health and Physical Education (Primary).

Matthew Bowater

TRAINER

Matt is one of our head coaches at Fitstop Melville. Matt has his Cert IV in Fitness as well as being a Master Trainer. Matt's love for health, well-being and fitness led him down the path to completing his bachelors degree in Health Science. Matt takes a holistic approach to his health goals and you'll find Matt around the gym for a yarn and some banter!

Riley Woodcock

TRAINER

Riley has an extensive background in the Health & Fitness Industry and brings a wealth of experience to the Melville team. Riley was the National Trainer of the Year for the Fitstop Franchise in 2021 and is the WA Head Trainer for Fitstop. Riley is a qualified Master Trainer with his Cert IV in Fitness, he is also a qualified Pilates Instructor and ZUU Movement coach.

Sophie Woodhead

TRAINER

After trying almost every sport under the sun, I’ve learnt two things. 1. I shouldn’t play sports that include sticks or rackets and 2. I’m very competitive. In saying that I have also learnt a lot about the body, the way it moves and the potential it has. The knowledge I have gained through my Fitness Certs along with work experience at various group and one on one locations has helped me develop my coaching skills in so many ways. When I’m not in the gym you’ll find me spending time with family, friends and my Great Dane Moose 🐶 My goal as a trainer at Melville Fitstop is to help push you past your mental limit to discover how strong, fast or fit you can be. I’m super excited to join the Fitstop family and be able to help motivate our members to push that little bit harder. 💪 🥳

Jacinta Arnott

TRAINER

At 15 I pleaded my way into the gym, instantly hooked on the various ways to test my bodies capabilities. Being highly self-competitive, I loved being my own 'experiment' to trial the impact of a variety of training styles & methods. Although my initial love was for physical & performance benefits, I was very quickly hooked on the mental benefits. 🧠 While studying commerce at university, I spent my spare time diving headfirst into completing my PT certs… partially driven by selfish interest but also aimed to broaden my wildly unknown career options. Since then, I have continued to upskill through a range of courses while coaching at numerous functional group fitness studios. Recent years have seen me working FT in the finance industry(🤓)… always unable to give up my fitness side-passion, coaching classes before my long workdays! Recently, I have taken the plunge into the fitness industry to follow that passion. 💪🏽 I love Fitstop's hybrid functional training style, challenging all aspects of mental & physical performance. As a trainer, I want to push clients past their mental barriers to help them discover what they are truly capable of!

Chiara Laraine

TRAINER

My passion lies in living a healthy lifestyle and inspiring others to find the motivation to improve and maintain their fitness levels. Fitness has always been an important part of my life and I love sharing my knowledge with others whilst learning new things that challenge myself. ☺️ I am an active person who is always on the go and enjoys different forms of exercise including crossfit, muay thai and pole dancing. With several years of experience in the fitness industry I worked in various places including one on one training and group fitness classes. When I'm not training or coaching I love being out in nature enjoying the sun or cooking delicious plant based meals.
